Excerpts from some of the most memorable soundtracks by the Oscar©-winning composer are given a fresh, Brazilian flavor. Producer Pelão invited a group of virtuosic musicians to the recording sessions – Joel Nascimento (bandolim), Henrique Cazes (cavaquinho), Zé Nogueira (soprano sax), Guinga (acoustic guitar), Raphael Rabello (acoustic guitar), Chiquinho do Acordeon, and folk fiddler Zé Gomes head up the list. |
